Andrew Dobb
Andrew started
his interest in acting at secondary school, performing in
several major roles including George in 'Of Mice And Men',
Seymour in 'Little Shop Of Horrors' and Doody in 'Grease'.
Whilst there Andrew attained an 'A' level in Drama studies
and discovered the comic, clown and Nobel Prize for Literature
winner Dario Fo.
Andrew then formed
Ashfield Strangely Talented Theatre Company with several other
student friends and they had a successful run of performances
of Fo's 'Accidental Death Of An Anarchist'. So successful
in fact that they decided to take the show to the Edinburgh
Fringe 2000 where they had a sell outweek!
Since joining the
HND Performing Arts course at West Notts, Andrew has performed
as Happy Loman In Arthur Miller's 'Death Of A Salesman', for
the Snap Dragon Theatre Company and as Bottom in a record
breaking weeks worth of performances with Aurum-Z Theatre
Company's adaptaion of 'A Mid-Summer Nights Dream'.
