This is Linda’s third appearance with Front Room having played Ranyevskya in The Cherry Orchard and Lady Bracknell in The Importance of Being Earnest. Past productions include Me Mam Sez, Y’Shunta Joined and Seaside or Bust with Sherwood Theatre Company. Linda remembers the miner’s strikes in the 70’s and 80’s – the electricity only being on certain days, looking after two young children by candlelight and the miners picketing; oh the good old days!
